The Hammers are looking to buy Arsenal outcast Lucas Perez and Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge to replace Carroll in the summer.
West Ham have struggled for a consistent goal-scoring striker despite shelling out considerable amount of money over the past few seasons. Simone Zaza, Jonathan Calleri and Ashley Fletcher have all failed to make an impact in Slaven Bilic’s side. Andy Carroll has spent a huge chunk of his time with the Hammers on the treatment table since joining them from Liverpool. Reports suggest that the former Newcastle and Liverpool forward will make way to fund moves for Sturridge and Perez. Carroll (28) has attracted big money interest from China and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he is off in the summer.
Lucas Perez joined Arsenal from La Liga side Deportiva La Coruna for €20 million last summer. He has failed to cement a starting role in Wenger’s team and has made a paltry 2 starts in his 11 appearances for Gunners in all competitions. The Arsenal No. 9 has scored a single goal in the League but has impressed in cup competitions including a brace against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup and an away hat-trick against Basel in the Champions League.
Daniel Sturridge meanwhile has been woeful for Liverpool this season and is certain to depart in the summer. The England international has found himself behind Roberto Firmino (makeshift striker) and Divock Origi in the pecking order. He has started just 21 games for Klopp this season having scored 6 goals and assisted another 3. Sturridge when fit is a goal machine and the former Chelsea and Manchester City forward has scored 60 goals for the Reds in just 113 appearances.

Sky Bet have priced West Ham (7/2) favorites to land Sturridge ahead of Arsenal (7/1), Paris Saint-Germain (8/1), Tottenham and Newcastle (both 10/1) in the market.
Interesting to see which clubs will be interested in securing the services of pony tailed giant hitman Andy Carroll in the summers.
