Juventus attacker Roberto Pereyra may be the subject of a transfer bid from West Ham United this summer, according to Italian media outlet La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Argentine international has had a tough time in his second season at the Old Lady. A series of injuries have limited his game time to just twelve Serie A appearances and as a result, he has struggled to become a role player of Italian Champions.
It’s a shame for Pereyra, who was one of Juventus’s best performers last term after arriving on an initial loan deal from Udinese. He impressed to such an extent that Juventus exercised a clause of £10.5million to gain full ownership of him.
The Daily Mail report that the Irons will make an offer of around £12m for the technically gifted midfielder and that will be deemed enough to take him from Serie A giants.
At 25, Pereyra has a bright future; he’s already proved that he is quality enough to play for one of Europe’s top teams.
Tuttosport, though, claim that West Ham have a real chance to persuade Juventus and Perreira move at London.
