Nice defender Jeremy Pied is being chased by West Ham United, according to French outlet Le10Sport.
The right-back has enjoyed a strong season at the club, having been converted from a right winger to a right-back by manager Claude Puel.
His current contract with the France club is set to expire next month, though, and up to now he has not agreed a new deal to extend his stay.
Instead, his fine performances this season have put him in a strong position to take advantage and seek a move elsewhere.
Slaven Bilic’s man are keen to bolster their backline on the right flank during upcoming transfer window and have been linked with a number of players.
The two right-backs Lyon’s Rafael and Paris Saint-Germain’s Gregory van der Wiel are reportedly on Bilic’s radar.
And Pied has apparently now attracted the interest of the Hammers, with the 27-year-old’s contract up at the end of this season.
Saint-Etienne are also said to be keen, but Pied’s impressive form in 32 Ligue 1 appearances this term has Bilic’s side eyeing a free transfer.
