Manuel Lanzini scored a wonderful freekick for West Ham as the Hammers were beaten 3-2 by Leicester City at home. The set piece was in typical Payet territory as Danny Drinkwater brought Antonio down in the 20th minute. The Argentine continued his great run of games with a curled effort over the wall to pull things back for his side.

Definite shades of the former freekick specialist for West Ham, Dimitri Payet.
The away side had taken a 2-0 lead inside 7 minutes courtesy goals from Riyad Mahrez and Robert Huth. Lanzini’s goal breathed life into the Olympic Stadium faithful and West Ham were back in it. Jamie Vardy pounced on a loose ball after some poor defending to restore the 2-goal advantage. Andre Ayew continued his scoring spree to reduce the deficit with his 4th goal in five games. Leicester City shot-stopper Kasper Schmeichel was in inspired form to keep his side in the lead. The Dane made a couple of remarkable saves late on showing glimpses of his dad, the legendary Manchester United keeper Peter Schmeichel.
The rejuvenation of Lanzini though has pleased the majority of the West Ham fans and Slaven Bilic would be delighted to see his progress.
