A replacement for Juan Mata? Manchester United want Bordeaux very-creative attacking midfielder this Summer

A trustworthy French news source, Le10Sport has revealed that Manchester United might have found a gem in FC Bordeaux midfielder, Adam Ounas as a quality addition to the Red Devils midfield. As it stands, Juan Mata is still most reliable natural attacking midfielder in the LVG-led squad, but the Dutch handler has often times played Wayne Rooney and Maroune Fellaini in the position. Due to short supply in the position, Ounas could arrive Old Trafford this Summer after an impressive season in the French League caught the eyes of Manchester United scouts.

The 19-year-old has been a very important part of the 13th-placed Ligue 1 side, making 25 total appearances and scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists overall. A good return for a teenager playing in such role. The France youth international of Algerian origin has been in the club since he was 16 years of age, cutting his teeth with the reserve side before earning a permanent callup to the national team. A highly skilled midfielder with accurate passing abilities, Ounas is seen by many as a prospective key member of Les Bleus, and the Algeria F.A are already trying to convince him to play for the North African national at senior level.

Manchester United are not the only side interested in his services. Another Ligue 1 side, AS Monaco want to lure the highly versatile diminutive-figured youngster to their side. In what has been an average season for Bordeaux, Adam Ounas has been the standout player in the team, and has already become a fans-favourite due to his eye-catching style of play. Also able to play on the wings, Ounas will come handy to a United side that have often been dubbed boring this season if a move is made for him by Summer.
