There are something to get excited for Manchetser United fans inside the British press. As per the latest reports Alvaro Morata could join the Red Devils in Summer.
Serie A giants Juventus are worried Real Madrid cold re-sign Alvaro Morata simply to sell him on for a profit in the summer, according to reports.
Alvaro Morata joined to the Serie A champions in the summer of 2014 in search of first-team football after playing second fiddle to Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu.
A deal between the two clubs was agreed, however, Real included a £25.5million buy-back clause in his contract in case he developed into a star.
And since moving to Italy, Morata has done just that, becoming a crucial member of the 2014/15 title-winning team and securing his place in the Spain international squad.
As a result, Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta fears the La Liga club could activate the clause and sell him on for £40million, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.
“Madrid could be forced to buy back the player but it is possible, and they don’t have the slightest sporting interest in Morata,” he said.
“We hope they don’t re-sign him and try to get more money for him. They have that right. There’s a term to run, and we don’t know if they will do it or not.”
According to the Spanish Marca Manchester United and Liverpool are leading the race to secure his services, pointing out Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Old Trafford could give United an advantage.
Jose Mourinho handed Morata his Real Madrid debut at the age of 18 back in 2010, and he went on to make 37 La Liga appearances for the club.
