Liverpool and Arsenal Target From Bundesliga Available For £26m In The Summer

Liverpool
RB Leipzig are willing to sell Naby Keita for £26m in the summer, reports from Germany have confirmed.

Naby Keita has been immense for RB Leipzig’s title challenge in the Bundesliga this season. The Red Bull backed RasenBall Leipzig caught a zillion eyes with their explosive start to the season. Keita has scored 4 goals and has assisted another 6 having played just 21 games this season. The 22 year old Guinean has attracted interest from all across Europe. Arsenal and Liverpool are understood to be in a two way battle to secure the services of this emerging star.

Keita joined RB Leipzig from RB Salzburg last year for a fee believed to be in the region of 15 Million Euros. Naby plays as the central midfielder but is capable of operating as an attacking mid as well as a defensive midfielder. Keita is represented by Bjorn Bezemer, who also represents Sadio Mane. However, Liverpool need to qualify for Champions League if they are to carry any hopes of landing Keita in the summer.

“He’s still under contract for a long time yet. If we qualify for Europe there’s also no reason why Naby shouldn’t play for us next season.” – Ralf Rangwick (RB Leipzig Sporting Director)

Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also keen to acquire his services in the summer. The asking price for Naby Keita has been reported to be £26m by Sport Bild while Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangwick remains confident of not losing Keita in the summer.

“Naby’s an extraordinary player who could play in any European top team.” – Ralf Rangwick (RB Leipzig Sporting Director)
