Kop to the rescue, as Klopp seeks to bring sparsely used La Liga promising talent to Liverpool

Real Madrid players might have been openly ecstatic about their Barcelona win over the weekend, but one of them wouldn’t be so happy after he was made to sit out the entire game, as usual. And Liverpool are ready to end his misery by offering him a transfer to Anfield this Summer. Having become a permanent squad player at the Bernabeu, 24-year-old winger and forward, Lucas Vázquez could be on his way out at the end of the season after becoming increasingly frustrated with his lack of opportunities.

And being a favourite of Klopp, a successful move to Liverpool could be on the books. The German handler has had an eye on the Real Madrid youth system product since his last season loan move to Espanyol, and the Spanish giants choosing to exercise the buy-back option in the player’s deal was the reason Klopp didn’t include him in his transfer plans. However, after 19 League appearances, the majority off the bench, there could be a possibility that Madrid will be willing to sell at the right price, as clearly he is surplus to requirements.

With Benteke’s inconsistency and lack of sharpness in the attack and play’s buildup, Vázquez is seen as a worthy replacement for the Belgian. The former Aston Villa forward isn’t pleased with his lack of playing time and has openly expressed his disappointments at the coach’s selection. A move away from Liverpool seems certain for the 25-year-old, and Vázquez is no doubt a quality replacement and addition to the side.
