Jose Mourinho faces the prospect of a two-match touch-line ban after being sent to the stands for the second time in less than a month as Manchester United slumped to their worst ever start to a Premier League season.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED:
The Special One booted a water bottle down the touch-line in frustration after watching Pogba booked for diving in the first half and was promptly dismissed by referee Jonathan Moss. The Portuguese’s mood only soured further as the Red Devils were held to a fourth successive draw at home in the Premier League.
A PREMIER LEAGUE RECORD?
Earlier this season, Mourinho was given a one-match touch-line ban against Swansea City and an £8,000 fine after being sent to the stands during United’s goalless draw against Burnley last month for verbally abusing referee Mark Clattenburg in the tunnel at half-time.
FACT: United have won just two of their past 10 league matches
This might be the third charge Mourinho has faced this season after also being fined £50,000 for an outburst about referee Anthony Taylor in the build-up to United’s game against Liverpool at Anfield last month.

The result leaves United 11 points adrift of Premier League leaders Chelsea and eight behind Arsenal in fourth. The Red Devils face Everton away and Spurs at home in their next two league fixtures while Pogba’s yellow card implies that he will be suspended from the midweek EFL clash against the Hammers.
