John Terry’s Possible Replacement Drops Massive Hint Amid Chelsea

Chelsea long-term defensive target Everton’s John Stones dropped a massive transfer hint by attending Manchester City’s draw with Real Madrid last night.

Reportedly, the England international was spotted at the Etihad as Manuel Pellegrini’s men kept their Champions League dream alive.

Incoming Citizens’ manager Pep Guardiola is understood to be a big Stones’ admirer and is keen on sealing a megabucks deal to sure up his defence ahead of a tilt at the Premier League title next season.

The 21-year-old was the subject of transfer bids from Chelsea last year and Jose Mourinho may reignite his interest this summer if he is appointed Manchester United boss.

The European champions Barcelona have also been linked with the ex-Barnsley centre back as they look to bring in a long-term defensive partner for Gerard Pique.

However, it is understood Everton defender’s preference is to stay in the north of England, close to his south Yorkshire roots.
