Pochettino was talking about his tantalizing striker who is back to light training on the pitch and could be back sooner than imagined.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino saw his star forward picking up a ligament injury during an FA Cup mauling of Millwall. This was Harry Kane’s second (and same ankle injury) following a knock picked up against Sunderland earlier in the season. That injury saw him miss out five League games at the start of their campaign this season.
“Yes, of course, of course. He is doing very well, he is very positive. We believe that he can be available not so long in time.
“But I cannot provide the time he still needs to be available again, but I think it is not too long.”
Vincent Janssen, who has been playing second fiddle to Hurricane has failed to convince White Hart Lane upon his big money arrival. Spurs are in the race for a Top 4 finish yet again this season competing with City, Liverpool, Arsenal, United and Everton for three places. They sit 10 points behind Chelsea who are certain to run away with the Premiership.
Harry Kane is immense for the Spurs attacking prowess and has already scored 19 goals in the Premier League this season. The Cockerels will be hoping for a swift recovery as they look forward to finish above their bitter rivals, Arsenal.
