Ahead of what promises to be a busy summer transfer market for the Red Devils, Manchester United legend and ex player, Gary Pallister thinks the club can win the title next term if they land the trio of Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane. As revealed by The Daily Mail, Pallister says,
“Harry Kane are Robert Lewandowski are the kind of players United could look at. There’s a lot of talk about Cristiano Ronaldo too, who’d be a great threat.”
Kane has been on United’s radar in recent seasons and a summer move for him failed last season. In his stead, United secured the duo of Martial and Depay. The England international has been firing from both ends of the cylinder this term, leading the White Hart Lane outfit to 2nd place with a game to go and tops the goal charts with 25 goals.
Ed Woodward is keen to land a star striker and Robert Lewandowski is top of his wish list. The Poland international has banged in 31 league goals this term, and is heavily in demand as summer approaches. Manchester United must beat the likes of Real Madrid and PSG to the signature of the 27-year-old.
The Cristiano Ronaldo links come as the Portugal international could leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season. He has always hinted at a return to the Old Trafford before hanging his boots and it is still likely he ends up at the club by summer. Despite being 31 years old, he has scored 33 La Liga goals thus far, and he is still a threat to defenders.
Landing the trio will be the greatest achievement in the history of the summer transfer window, and if United can achieve the feat remains to be seen.
