Fan-favourite is on verge to leave Chelsea

According to the latest transfer news from English media sources, Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel is expected to make a stunning departure from the London-based club. The same source claims that Nigerian powerhouse is being lined up with a switch to Spanish side Valencia.

Two-times Premier League winner has been on the West London club’s books for a decade and has been in and out of the Blues side in that time.

The Premier League defending champions have suffered terrible campaign this season and the arrival of new head coach Antonio Conte is a guarantee that club will make deep changes in summer.

The 29-year-old Obi Mikel is one of those being tipped to leave Stamford Bridge, as La Liga giants Valencia are willing to bring the midfielder at Mestalla.
