Michy Batshuayi has failed to cement a starting role at Chelsea and could depart to Hammers in the summer.
West Ham were keen to land the Belgian in the summer of 2016 but Chelsea hijacked their signing for £33m. Batshuayi has struggled for minutes under Antonio Conte while Chelsea are flying high; sitting top of the Premier League table. Michy Batshuayi has made 16 appearances for Blues in the League, all of them coming off the bench. Conte has preferred to start with Eden Hazard up front in the absence of Costa despite having Michy available.
The 23 year old is looking for a move in the summer, either on a loan or permanently. Conte is believed to be keen to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid in the summer. With rumors linking Chelsea with Everton rebel Romelu Lukaku, future looks bleak for Michy at Stamford Bridge. Add to that, Diego Costa’s shocking revelation from earlier today making his departure imminent and the aforementioned’s arrival more likely.

It is reported that Slaven Bilic’s West Ham United had their bid of £31m accepted by Marseille last summer, only for Chelsea to spoil the party by offering a couple of millions more for the lad. Bilic is keen to acquire the services of this unhappy striker and a bid of £25m might just do the trick for the Hammers this summer according to Dailymail

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea entertain a permanent deal or a loan move for the young striker. West Ham have also been linked with Luis Muriel, Daniel Sturridge and Lucas Perez as Andy Carroll’s days wt West Ham seem numbered.
