Todays’ British press are filled with speculations about the Gunners transfer activity in Summer.
The West London giants boss Arsene Wenger has settled the Nigeria international forward Odion Ighalo, at the top of his shopping list as he looks to strengthen his front line.
Arsene Wenger is stepping up his interest in £20million-rated Watford forward Odion Ighalo.
They have identified 26-year-old Ighalo as one of the strikers at the top of their shortlist for summer strikers.
Gunners’ boss Wenger wants to strengthen his strike force, and it will not necessarily mean an established superstar signing.
Wenger believes they have strength in depth with Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck, who can all play through the middle.
But he does want a centre-forward, and the club are keeping close tabs on Ighalo, who is becoming a hot property.
According to Express Watford may have to sell if they can an offer of around £20m and Arsenal, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have all looked at the Nigerian forward.
They are already looking at Granada striker Isaac Success as a potential replacement.
Mirror revealed back in December Arsenal’s interest, and they have also looked at Celta Vigo’s Nolito as they look to bolster their squad.
