The agent of CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin has broken his silence on reports that the Russian is in advanced negotiations with Arsenal.
Reports in Golovin’s homeland this morning claimed the Gunners were closing in on a £10million deal for the Russia international.
Golovin, 21, has been scouted by Chelsea this summer and impressed for CSKA this season where he became a first team regular.
Arsenal have already signed Sead Kolasniac this summer but Golovin’s agent is refusing to confirm – or deny – that his client is on his way to the Emirates.
‘Golovin at Arsenal? Nice information,’ said Oleg Artemov.
‘But so far, no comment.’
