Arsene Wenger’s side are monitoring Premier League Leicester City wonder-kid Ben Chilwell ahead of a potential summer transfer, according to the Mirror reports.
Chilwell has been heavily linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium in recent weeks, with the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool also keen on the 19-year-old defender, according to the Stun reports
The continued interest has therefore seen the Foxes try to tie Chilwell down to a new and improved contract, but the youngster is considering his options after struggling to nail a regular first-team role under Claudio Ranieri.
Summer signing Christian Fuchs has been a revelation at left-back for Leicester, limiting Chilwell’s opportunities for the league leaders.
And Gunners manager Arsene Wenger sees Chilwell as the perfect long-term replacement for Kieran Gibbs, who could leave the Emirates at the end of the season after falling down the pecking order to behind Nacho Monreal.
Chilwell has only featured on three occasions in cup competitions for Leicester this term, before being loaned out to Huddersfield Town for two months in November and December earlier in the campaign and has been impressing their scouts from top Premier league clubs
