Agent confirms Arsenal have signed Nigerian youngster

Nigerian youngster, Kelechi Nwakali’s agent has confirmed he’s completed his move to Arsenal after signing a 5-year contract with the club.

Nwakali flew to London last month to prepare a deal with the Gunners after a £3million fee was agreed with his native Diamond Football Academy.

And now it was revealed that his representative has confirmed the transfer is signed and sealed.

‘Kelechi has signed a five-year deal with Arsenal,’ he told Sports Day.

‘I won’t be able to mention the exact transfer fee but it is above £2m.’

A talented midfielder in the mould of Patrick Vieira, Nwakali will begin his career this summer when he turns 18.

Beside this, it is interesting for Arsenal fans that According to Times, Arsene Wenger is ready to risk angering Alexis Sanchez by dropping him from the Arsenal team.

Sanchez has suffered a dramatic loss of form in recent weeks right at the business end of the club’s season.

Wenger is considering dropping the player, but faces a conundrum as Sanchez is likely to be angry.

He apparently accepts that his performances haven’t been good enough, but wants to play his way back into form and doesn’t want to be dropped.

Sanchez is known for his love of playing football and forcing him to sit out could make one of his biggest names unhappy.

Arsenal are likely to make changes for the clash with Swansea on Wednesday and Alexis is hoping he won’t be one of them.
